My life changed when I met Dr. Blake. My body suffered from not only physical pains but emotional triggers that he was able to decipher within our first few sessions, creating a unique treatment that made me feel a difference within weeks. From my constant congestion and to my chronic plantar fasciitis and carpal tunnel, Dr. Blake not only removed those discomforts but gave me long term advice to keep them at bay. I am so grateful for his kindness and gentleness through the process of understanding why our emotional bodies affect our physical ones as well. He created a space for me to relax through these treatments and always made me feel heard and understood. His advice comes from years of studying with real Chinese doctors and if he doesn’t know at the moment how to help, he will do everything he can to find a way. Incredible and talented man with a heart of gold. Thank you for everything, Dr. Blake!

Blake is honestly an amazing doctor. I was attended by Blake at a different location and he was by far the best acupuncturist. During my visits, I always made sure to ask for him. I never felt rushed and never felt the pinch of the needles either. He always took his time and always made sure to walk me through the process, also focusing on treating the pain, and succeeded in doing so. Overall Blake is amazing and great at his profession I recommend him to anyone who is thinking about getting acupuncture you won't regret it, and you'll feel amazing after his care. Looking forward to visiting him soon.

Blake Estape is more than an EXCELLENT acupuncturist. He is a caring, knowledgeable practitioner whose 'beside manner' is second to none. He takes the time to know his patients and really delves into their problems so he can determine the REAL source of their pain and discomfort. He then takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. This helps relax you as he proceeds with the treatment. I have had other acupuncture treatments before, but none that compares to Dr. Estape. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking pain relief. Simply the best!

Excellent doctor! I used to see Dr. Estape at another acupuncture clinic and I was so happy to learn that he opened his own clinic. I had struggled with health problems that my Western doctor couldn't give me answers to. I went to see Dr. Estape and he not only gave me answers but helped heal me! He's extremely personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Blake Estape!

Prior to opening this location I received services from Blake at another location I travel over 100 miles as he is conveniently open on Sundays which works great with my schedule. He's attentive, listens and after a couple sessions much relief is felt I strongly and without hesitation recommend him.

We are currently treating a chronic shoulder/ upper back pain I’ve had for at least five years and my (texting/scrolling) thumb pain was resolved in just a couple of sessions. Not to mention, my boyfriends GI problems were treated and completely resolved with consistent sessions over a short amount of time. I highly recommend this clinic, and Blake as your doctor, to my loved ones and anyone looking to treat their ailment.

Blake is amazing. Professional, friendly, informative, easy to talk to. I'm new to acupuncture, but have experienced other acupuncturists and he's been my favorite. Acupuncture helped me get through some personal stuff, shelter in place, COVID quarantine, and everyday life stress. Do your body a favor, call Blake. You deserve it. =)

I will start by saying I don’t like needles. My husband has sworn by Accupuncture for years but I would not try it, at all. Eventually I threw out my back and work stress led me to try it out as, an emergency fix. It worked. Helped my pain immediately 70%. I have been seeing Blake ever since, for a few years. The issues are different but the level of care is amazing. If you want to learn how to heal your body naturally, with Eastern medicine, this is the way to go. Blake combines whatever you may be doing with a TCM approach or he can start off completely with natural Eastern medicine. It’s a complete way of viewing your health and it has brought peace and healing to my life as well as my family. I recommend Blake, wholeheartedly. He received his TCM training in China and is extremely competent in his field.
Traditional methods take the unique person into account. Each treatment plan is crafted with you as a collaborator in your own care.

What drove me to a life of villainy was the same impulse that convinced me to move to China in the first place. I was looking for something, an experience that held some kind of meaning. During my time abroad I did a lot of questionable things, and there’s nothing unique about that aside form the setting. We all did it.
The field of medical statistics doesn’t come up often in casual conversation, but I don’t think I’m the only one who wasn’t aware of NNT. As it turns out, despite its value as a patient-centered evaluation of treatment efficacy, it’s often improperly used in studies or ignored completely.
This summer is shaping up to be one of the hottest on record. As we struggle to keep cool, it’s helpful to understand what our bodies can tolerate. In Part 2 of Combating Summer Heat, we explore Traditional Chinese Medicine recommendations for how to survive the hot season based on body type.
The causes of headaches are myriad; vasculature, blood pressure, electrical, muscular... Since acu-points galvanize the parasympathetic nervous system - which is responsible for many of these systems - most physiological causes of headaches can be moderated by their use.
In treating the entrepreneur population my focus is just as much in treating the symptoms as it is on restructuring how they think. I do this by leaning on two very old philosophical texts; the Art of War, and the Dao De Jing. These two books have very different purposes – one being warfare and the other the pursuit of virtue. However, despite this they share a lot of common themes which are just as applicable to running a business as they are to running a country, or running our own lives.
A common accusation against traditional Chinese medicine is that it’s pseudoscience. In reality, acupuncture's influence on molecular and biochemical pathways such as eATP, TRPV1, neurotransmitters, the HPA axis, and IL-6 has become an area of intense scientific investigation.
Brain fog has been more in the public eye since 2019, when it was a defining characteristic of COVID infections. People who experience brain fog describe it in different ways. Often it’s a sort of mental malaise; focusing can be difficult, remembering information is a struggle, or they may ‘space out’ for extended periods of time. The varying presentation is a reflection of the varying causes.
We’ve come to the last of the five spirits; the Yi. Of all the spirits, Yi greatly involves what goes on in our heads. It’s responsible for cognition, concentration, memory, and attention, but also for looking inside via introspection and self-consideration.
